The first even we held before we even opened the hub officially. We held a community picnic on Redvales playing field. We try to have everything free or as cheap as possible so it’s accessible for all.
We had special guests from Bury Football Club and players from the Bury FC ladies team came down as our special guests.
We had face painting, henna, a DJ, mascots, a belly dancer and much more.
We were supported by local partners and community groups including ADAB, BAME, and GMP Bury North.
It was a fabulous day in the sunshine attended by lots of the community.
